Series Complete!

Et Voila! I have completed the series. After many brushstrokes, late nights, early mornings and a lot of coffee, I have decided that these paintings are now complete. The painting in the middle is actually the painting that I have previously referenced as "the third painting". The two on the outsides are the paintings I went back and forth pushing and pulling until I decided it was time to let go.

This is great work Lizzie!
You're pushing yourself to realise your creative potential and the outcome of the three paintings speak for themselves, I can see you've turned the theory into practice with the use of colour and capturing the eye, it really works. Well done sista, I'm very proud!

Liz,

New here. I receive your emails via Joe and the Flat Iron list.

Just wanted to say, that based on the digital images of your paintings, I'm really liking what I'm seeing here. Sorry, but I have to reserve any further judgment until seeing them in person. A painting is hardly a painting when viewed as a 2d digital image so I hope you will understand. But really, I'm quite intrigued and hope I will see them in person.

I also wanted to complement you on your writing. I'm used to reading the same boring and uninspired or overly conceived and pretentious crap on the web. Your writing, however, is mature, raw, intelligent and personal without being trite or pretentious. It's really interesting and fun to read! Keep it up.

I look forward to reading more and seing your art.
